Prospect Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services is family owned and the ONLY funeral home in the area that is owned, operated and managed by a Registered Nurse with many years of bedside experience caring for patients and families. Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie family is truly a work of heart. Both Mike and Kim changed career paths in order that they could follow their ethos of compassion, dedication and honesty. Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family building is the newest and one of the largest buildings in the state. It is our sincere desire to reach out to the people of Prospect and surrounding communities to provide you with compassionate funeral services honoring the life of your loved one. Our logo, "The Tree of Life", symbolizes our commitment to you and all of your family members. We will honor the life of your loved one with services that are respectful of her/his cultural traditions and spiritual practices. Families are encouraged to bring memorabilia (i.e.: photos, mementos, souvenirs, autos etc. ) to display throughout the funeral home that they would like to share with visitors to personify the wonderful life of their loved one and the impact that individual had on others. Our facility is designed for the comfort and convenience of all our clients. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home has a wide-open interior that is soothingly decorated . The entire facility is handicap accessible, not one stair in the whole building. We offer many comfortable seating areas located throughout to enable a short rest for those waiting to enter the parlor. The "Gathering Room" is a large homey waiting area with a fireplace for those that are waiting to visit the family which has a large screen television for families to run their DVD on. There is a non-denominational spiritual chapel and a children's play room easily visible to parents. Each service is well staffed with our experienced attendants who share in the philosophy of Prospect Memorial Funeral Home: It is our privilege to serve you and our desire to fulfill every aspect of your loved one's funeral service.
